In an attempt to draw the demon's attention and lure it into a trap, Ray separates from the group. This decision, however, leads him into greater danger.
Meanwhile, Emma and the group escape the wild demon, but Emma's ear wound opens and the combination of blood loss and high fever causes her to pass out.
When all seems lost, a mysterious girl and a tall man wrapped in heavy cloth appear to save them.
